Consumption of these pollutants can lead to cancer, diabetes, and stroke, etc.

2) Pregnant and lactating mothers

Women should consume salmon fish in controlled quantities, especially when they are pregnant or breastfeeding. 
Salmon fish contains a quantity of mercury which can have negative effects on the developing brain and nervous system of the fetus.

3) Tapeworm Infection

This fish should be consumed only after cooking it properly. 
Consuming raw or under ripened salmon may cause tapeworm bacteria called Diphyllobothrium latum. 
The presence of these bacteria can cause the following problems.
